How to address them
What do you need to address young people? How does this communication have to be? And where can you best reach young people? These questions were not only posed by the Barnim youth employment agency, but also by everyone who addresses this special target group. Why “special”? Because the target group changes faster than almost any other. What is true today is already different tomorrow. All the better when you have a partner who knows the right channels, and who has the right ideas.
In the case of the Youth Employment Agency Barnim, AR City Media initially had the right idea for the medium: young people can be reached particularly well with moving images! Videos or animated explanatory films are popular. The shorter the better. And of course the films should also be entertaining.
In our case, we proposed and produced a 15-second video. Quickly cut, beautifully colorful, with music and the clear message:
“Don’t panic, the Barnim youth employment agency is there for you if you don’t have an apprenticeship yet and time is running out! Together we will find the right job for you!”
However, this was only the first step to success. The second is knowing where to post this video. We recommended the Instagram channel popular with this target audience. And with users getting less and less time, our next suggestion was to publish this video as a story. Barnim youth employment agency reached a large number of young people in a short time in a new way.
