Storyline
BFIT

Attention, things are getting complicated now: The Federal Monitoring Agency is responsible for the implementation of EU directive 2102 for the availability of information technology.
Wow, couldn’t that be shorter and clearer? Yes, this is possible and it is our job. The above-mentioned institution is our customer. The short name of the institution is Bfit-Bund. Their job is to ensure that all public institutions in Germany make their websites and apps accessible.
While this duty applies to bureaus such as the Social Welfare Office, the Employment Agency or the Tax Office, but also covers large companies and foundations working in the fields of social insurance such as pension insurance or health insurance.

We have developed various explainer videos to explain this complex subject as clearly as possible.
As a new experience for us, audio description, subtitles and sign language have been added to our descriptive videos, in addition to the usual moving images and sounds.

Because the content of this video had to be understandable to everyone. All of this is part of a Europe-wide campaign that develops new options for implementing accessibility in the digital age and ultimately wants to make Germany digitally barrier-free! This was a relatively new field for us. But as you can see in the videos, we have mastered it too. And it’s also a good thing: Accessibility allows anyone to use the Internet, find more, and learn more.
